Support for Binance Charity will also come from Binance Academy.
In 2023, Binance Charity, the company’s charity arm, plans to provide 30k scholarships. To deserving students who are interested in pursuing careers in the Web3 industry.

In a blog post dated January 20th. Binance Charity revealed that the Binance Charity Scholar Program (BCSP) will provide free Web3 education. And training classes to help tech-savvy individuals advance their careers without incurring undue financial strain. The article stated that approximately 82,000 people applied to join the next BCSP class. Making the acceptance percentage somewhere around 37%.

Focusing on Future Web3 Entrepreneurs
The University of Western Australia, the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany, and the Utiva Technology Hub in Nigeria are all participating as educational partners.

Some BCSP activities will be held at the French nonprofit training facility Simplon, the Ukrainian government’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Women In Tech organization, the Kyiv IT Cluster, and other locations.

For those Ukrainians who may have lost their employment as a result of the conflict with Russia. Binance Charity has worked with Ukrainian government agencies to provide retraining opportunities. About three thousand women in rural South Africa and Brazil will participate in training programmes run by Women In Tech to help future female entrepreneurs.

Support for Binance Charity will also come from Binance Academy, the company’s philanthropic blockchain education platform. Over 290,000 hours of Web3 education and training were made possible thanks to the over $3.5 million raised towards Binance Charity in 2022, the vast majority of which was donated in Binance USD (BUSD).
