Vasil update planned for the end of this month has been pushed off for few more weeks.

Until the Vasil update is live, COTI says, the Djed mainnet rollout will be on hold.
COTI, a major enterprise-grade financial organization, has given an update on Cardano’s stablecoin Djed deployment on the mainnet. Cardano’s Djed mainnet deployment will be postponed as a result of the postponement of the Vasil hard fork launch, according to a blog post by COTI.

According to a recent announcement by Cardano’s research and development business, Input Output Global (IOG), a planned Vasil update for the end of this month has been pushed off for a few more weeks. COTI said that the stablecoin deployment on the Cardano mainnet was postponed since Djed is intended to work with the Vasil hard fork. Until the Vasil update is live, COTI says, the Djed mainnet rollout will be on hold.

Highly Anticipated Vasil Hard Fork
With Vasil, the Cardano network has received one of its most major updates ever. Upgrades to Cardano’s features and functionality, such as smart contract capabilities, speed, and general efficiency, are expected to be a result of this.

It is projected that Cardano’s adoption and transactions would skyrocket as a result of these changes. Vasil is expected to boost the network’s efficiency and, as a result, the number of transactions that can be done on Djed’s platform, according to COTI. As the Vasil hard fork gets closer, a big financial business has pledged to keep the community informed on any new developments.

As a result of these efforts, Djed will have “utility from day one,” says the business. According to CMC, the Cardano price today is $0.531757 USD with a 24-hour trading volume of $1,069,157,631 USD. Cardano is up 1.24% in the last 24 hours.
