The Shibarium private TestNet has been running for a few weeks already.

Ethereum and Shibarium will be able to send and receive assets using the ‘wallet.’

A public beta test network will go live in the third quarter, according to Unification, the firm developing Shiba Inu Shibarium layer-2. The public TestNet, according to a post by Unification CEO Maziar Sadri, would let other parties engage with the network. “The Public Beta TestNet will allow parties to fully interact with the network, including the validation process,” Sadri said.

Wallet Application is Center of Attraction
Also revealed in the blog post is the fact that the Shibarium private TestNet has been running for a few weeks already. In anticipation of the public beta TestNet release, the network’s developers are working hard to create several valuable features. During the public beta TestNet in the following months, Shiba Inu investors will get a peek of Shibarium and have a deeper understanding of the network.

Shibarium’s technical specifications are discussed in depth in a new Medium blog post. Before ShibaSwap integration, this wallet will enable asset transfers in both directions between Ethereum and Shibarium, as well as staking and delegation. According to Sadri’s blog post, “the primary tool under heavy development is the wallet application.”

Ethereum and Shibarium will be able to send and receive assets using the ‘wallet.’ Before ShibaSwap 2.0 is integrated, the wallet will have staking and delegation.

The ‘burn mechanism’ on the Shibarium network is not explained in the Unification blog. Even though this is merely the Public TestNet phase, the Shibarium team may fully unveil the ‘burn mechanics’ when the entire Shibarium network is operational. According to CMC, the Shiba Inu price today is $0.000011 USD with a 24-hour trading volume of $866,702,189 USD. Shiba Inu has been up 3.57% in the last 24 hours.
