The world’s top digital asset exchange, Binance, has produced a crypto card for its customers in Ukraine, which thousands of citizens have requested.
People who have been forced to flee their homes due to the continuing hostilities with Russia may use the card to make purchases and get financial help.
Financial Aid During Times of Need
The Binance Refugee Crypto Card, by the biggest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, was provided to around 70,000 persons between April 26 and June 10.

Displaced Ukrainian Binance users now have a way to send and receive crypto and pay for goods and services in nations inside the European Economic Area, thanks to this card. The refugees will be able to receive financial assistance from Binance’s partners once they have it. A total of 4,000 Ukrainians living outside of Ukraine have accepted their applications, with more than 1,700 receiving financial aid.
According to the exchange’s representatives:
“Initially, we were going to help people who were forced into the EU, were granted refugee status and really needed help. But in parallel, we decided to launch a pilot project to help those who remained in Ukraine.”
As part of a collaboration with Palianytsia and Rotary Club Kyiv International, Binance is also involved in efforts to aid internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Priority will be given to large families and Ukrainians with small children, disabilities, and the elderly. According to the report, 75 BUSD ($75) a month would be available to these needy persons for three months. 5,000 IDPs will be helped initially with a $1.2 million budget.
