Vision Pro by Apple embracing solitary immersion.
Meta strives to maintain its pioneering position in virtual reality (VR). The release of Vision Pro has sparked speculations regarding Mark Zuckerberg’s perspective as CEO of Meta in response to the competition posed by Apple‘s VR headset.

Reports indicate that Zuckerberg explored his response to the technical features of Vision Pro, displaying a genuine interest in Apple’s product. He admitted that he hadn’t personally tested the Vision Pro yet, but his curiosity remained intact.

Zuckerberg elaborated on Apple’s pricing strategy for the headset, emphasizing that it was a deliberate “design trade-off.” He highlighted Apple’s decision to prioritize advanced technology, such as a higher resolution display, which drove up costs and energy consumption sevenfold, ultimately necessitating the use of a wired connection and battery.

Additionally, Zuckerberg underscored the design philosophy behind Meta Quest. Emphasized its aim to foster vibrant virtual communities and drive interactive experiences, placing a strong emphasis on promoting engagement. In contrast, he characterized Apple’s Vision Pro as primarily intended for individual, isolated use.
