Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, known as “BitBoy,” was arrested in Florida on March 25, following a social media post where he revealed that a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
Armstrong was taken into custody at 7:18 pm local time by Florida’s Volusia County Division of Corrections. Just days before his arrest, Armstrong shared in a March 21 post on X (formerly Twitter) that he had been facing legal issues.
He claimed the arrest warrants stemmed from emails he sent to Cobb County, Georgia Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs while representing himself in legal matters. Armstrong alleged that the judge had deleted her social media accounts due to the emails.
This isn’t Armstrong’s first run-in with the law. In September 2023, he was arrested while livestreaming outside the home of a former business associate, accusing them of holding his Lamborghini.
At present, there’s no information on Armstrong’s legal representation, and he hasn’t responded to requests for comment. As the situation develops, the crypto community waits to see how this latest legal challenge will unfold for Armstrong.
