The hottest Telegram clicker game ‘Hamster Kombat’ has reached 250 million players this week even as users across the world are waiting with bated breath for the official launch of its $HMSTR token. The game developers have hinted that the Token Generation Event (TGE) i.e. coin launch could happen in July.
Barely three months after its launch, Hamster Kombat has turned into an internet rage with millions of users across the world spending hours playing the clicker game to earn token rewards.
As per the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Hamster Kombat, the game reached 250 million followers this week on Tuesday.
Last week, the game had gone viral after it gained a mammoth 239 million followers in less than three months. Recently, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov had termed Hamster Kombat as the next big thing in the blockchain gaming industry and claimed that daily 4-5 million followers are joining the game.
On Monday, Bybit, a prominent crypto exchange, had listed Hamster Kombat for pre-market trading. The positive step by Bybit resulted in a sporadic 10000% surge in $HMSTR token value in the past two days. However, it is also pertinent to note that Hamster Kombat has till now not announced any pre-market affiliation officially, therefore users are advised to approach any pre-market trading related activities with caution.
Now, millions of players are awaiting the next clue from the makers of this game regarding the official launch of $HMSTR token, in hope that they can encash their earned tokens from the game.
When is the Launch Date of $HMSTR Token Expected?
The Hamster Kombat game was launched on The Open Network (TON) in March this year and the makers of this game have remained anonymous. Till now, the developers have not released any whitepaper on the game and the $HMSTR token thereby keeping over 250 million users in complete darkness about the revenue model, game mechanism and smart contracts of Hamster Kombat.
In that regard, the game developers have recently announced on their official website that they will be releasing a whitepaper soon.
They have also given a speculated time of July for the official launch of $HMSTR token (Token Generation Event (TGE)) and token in-game utility launch. Users can also expect an upcoming airdrop event before the official token launch.
The developers have also claimed that once TGE unfolds, the coin will be listed on prominent crypto exchanges such as ByBit, Binance, OKX, KuCoin, HTX and Bitget.
