Celestia (TIA) reached a new all-time high of $12.96 on December 12th.

The surge followed the announcement of Celestia Network’s integration with Polygon’s Chain Development Kit.
Celestia’s native token, TIA, surged to an all-time high of $12.96 on December 12th. This unprecedented rise follows the exciting announcement of Celestia Network’s integration with Polygon’s Chain Development Kit (CDK).

The integration is set to offer a seamlessly integrated module for Celestia within Polygon-based networks, facilitating enhanced data availability.

Also, this strategic integration opens up new possibilities, potentially transforming the transaction fee dynamics for users on these networks. This integration will empower fully on-chain applications and has the potential to significantly slash Ethereum Layer 2 transaction fees by approximately 100 times.

This dramatic reduction is attributed to the decision to store compressed transaction data on Celestia instead of the Ethereum network. As a result, users can expect significant cost savings, making transactions more efficient and accessible.

Polygon’s CDK, known for its innovation in Layer 2 solutions, incorporates zero-knowledge rollup technology. This new approach involves aggregating transactions off-chain and finalizing them in bundles on the mainnet. The adoption of such cutting-edge technology showcases the commitment to scalability and efficiency within the Celestia-Polygon ecosystem.

Celestia (TIA) Soaring to New Heights
Following the announcement, the price of TIA jumped by 21.6%, from $10.6 to $12.96, an all-time high. Despite this rally, today the cryptocurrency declined by over 6.46%. Still, TIA’s value is up by over 9.67% in the past week and 438% since its debut on November 1st.

At the time of writing, TIA is trading at $11.34, with a daily trading volume exceeding $592 million, a 12% increase in the last 24 hours.
