Sleek announcements
Coinbase was found to run ads on the stadium during the home games, according to the statements of Daniel Seifert, Vice President & Regional Managing Director. Daniel is responsible for the EMEA – Europe, the Middle East, and Africa zones.

The team conducted workshops for the BVB employees which includes the Ads campaign and promotions expanding to their impactful marketing objectives. Evidently, the campaign targets to make an impact on the country’s biggest football stadium the Signal Iduna Park.

Hurdles for the Coinbase
Although this partnership announcement enlightens the moment for the Coinbase, they’re not the only players in this marketing game. The top rivals, Binance – the leading crypto CEX (Centralized Exchange) and Crypto.com already have partnered with giants in soccer. Legendary athletes like Messi (Leo) and Cristiano Ronaldo have collaborated on numerous NFT projects for their rival exchanges.

Coinbase reportedly stopped offering all of its services, including trading, following the sinking of the Kraken (CEX) in Japan. Both the exchanges cited the radical decision as an outbreak of market turbulence. This has baffled the whole of Japan’s crypto community. The statement certainly caused the international trading community to go berserk in the forums. These top exchanges share the third and second greatest trading volume (according to the CMCs).

The Consecutive lay-offs from multiple exchanges including Coinbase over this winter season is one among the few hurdles that the company has to deal with.
