Announcing its tour website, its first Japan tour in 27 years, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the French soccer champion, is offering NFT tickets and commemorative NFTs.

Loaded With Unique Offerings
The ticket package comprises three NFT seats for the three planned matches in Japan. Each ticket costs around 180.36 ETH, which works out well, almost $205,000 at current exchange rates. Additionally, NFT ticket sales conclude on Wednesday. Owners of VIP tickets will have access to a special area and an after-party with the players.

The post on the website read:

“In the summer of 2022, Paris Saint-Germain, one of the best football clubs in the world, will tour Japan! To commemorate their first visit to Japan in 27 years, we will be offering premium NFT tickets and commemorative NFTs that you can only get here and now.”

The club’s trip will be documented in video and photos in the commemorative NFTs. First, Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale will take against the United States on July 20. Lionel Messi and the rest of PSG’s players will be in action.

Recently, the French national soccer team has increasingly used crypto and NFTs in its campaigns. Jay Chou, a Taiwanese pop sensation, will collaborate with the club on an NFT collection to commemorate its 10th league triumph and the Year of the Tiger.

Ten thousand NFTs brought French and Chinese cultures together in the Jay Chou collection. The Argentinian football great Lionel Messi accepted part of his transfer compensation in crypto fan tokens last year. The number of sports teams partnering with crypto companies looks to be increasing. Notably, crypto firms continue to turn to sports for new audiences to engage with their products and services.
