Paco records every step of the voyage and every Bitcoin transaction using travel vlogs.
The runner has survived off BTC in seven nations so far.
On his bitcoin-powered marathon across the globe, a fast-moving Bitcoiner has already gone through seven of the 40 nations. When Paco the Runner started out on his journey on Sept. 17, 2021, he was able to pay for his whole trip courtesy of the Bitcoin community. “Bitcoin gives everyone freedom in the way they desire it,” he demonstrates.
To go from “living a lie on the fiat standard” to traversing the globe on Bitcoin (BTC), Paco was given The Bitcoin Standard, a book by a close friend. When he started reading and talking to friends about money and the world around him, he ended himself in the Bitcoin wormhole.
In the aftermath, Paco’s vacation turned into an “Awareness of Bitcoin, Mass Adoption and Showing the kindness of humans” campaign. He records every step of the voyage and every Bitcoin transaction using travel vlogs and social media updates.
393 Nations Left
First, he has survived off BTC in seven nations so far. When it comes to public transportation, he solely utilizes “cash.” This Bitcoin-only path has had its share of setbacks. In Sri Lanka, he misplaced his “room keys and the hotel owner was upset.”
Paco said:
“I requested for a spare copy and ran to a neighboring town, and there was no electricity. Finally, it came, and I asked him will he accept Bitcoin, he said yes.
At this point, Paco is still running around the globe, meeting Bitcoiners and pre-coiners, and using sats money to pay for things. Furthermore, he concluded, “Every step you take now will shape your future.”
