Musk tweeted:
“Excited to hand over the first production cars made by Giga Berlin-Brandenburg tomorrow!”

During Tesla Germany’s maiden delivery event announcement, the company said that Elon Musk would come. For the most part, though, Musk has confirmed that he will be present. Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s involvement at the event may not be surprising. The company just had its first Model 3 delivery ceremony in China, seeing him do an unexpected dance routine. Remember that Musk committed to play an encore at the Giga Berlin grand opening event, as a reminder. A good moment would seem to be the Model Y delivery event.
Hildegard Müller, President of the German Automotive Industry Association (VDA), reiterated Wissing’s remarks and urged German automakers not to “hide” from Tesla. The VDA President also said that Germany’s research and development efforts in the EV car sector would be a success storey and assist define worldwide vehicle standards.
Müller said:
